“ This was our absolute favorite place for dinner for the 2 years we lived in NYC, and we were so sad to move away last year. We went at least once a month, and it was our “date night” spot. The absolute “musts” on the menu are Lasagna (trust me on this), or the Tortelloni. Runner ups were the Orecchiette, and their specials, but for sure we always ordered Lasagna. To drink: Chianti, or if cocktails get the Ginger Cosmo or the Rosemary Old Fashioned. Dessert: they’re all delicious, but the Pistachio Cheesecake was the hands down favorite. My fiance says the Tiramisu is the best he’s had and even our friends who said they didn’t like Tiramisu were converted to fans. The service was also fantastic. By a few months in they knew our order by heart though we definitely tried to surprise them now and then with different drinks and appetizer or by choosing a special. ”

The food was fresh and delicious across the board, though the portion sizes were on the smaller side for the pricing - but nothing crazy for NYC. That said, the quality definitely made up for it. Our server was attentive and the cocktail menu was a nice surprise with some unique options. All in all, a lovely spot for a relaxed and romantic evening. Looking forward to going back and trying more! ”
“ Wow! This place is fantastic. It is small and authentic. We showed up on an unusually busy Monday night without reservations, but they made room for us at the bar. Our server/bartender Michaela (from Romania) was amazing. All the staff were working their butts off. Great wine and cocktail options. We can recommend the charcuterie choices, the osso bucco, and especially the tortellini (one of the best pasta dishes we've eaten). Good desserts and dessert beverages too. Highly recommended! ”
“ This place is so cute and quaint inside. I went with a friend for dinner on Thursday and it was surprisingly not busy. It’s so sunny and welcoming inside. Service was delightful. The food was excellent and I would def go back. Get the seared calamari! ”

“ Intimate, comfortable environment with a calm ambiance. We sat in the back in the "patio" area that is covered and in reality indoor. The service was impeccable. We had a server and a runner who were both attentive and kind. The server was knowledgeable about the menu and specials. We were never left unattended. The food was prepared and cooked to perfection. The calamari was not fried but just had a sprinkling of bread crumbs but it was cooked so well it was tender and flavorful. I got the ossobuco and it was hardly necessary to use even the butter knife it was so tender and well prepared. The saffron risotto wouldve been amazing on its own. My son got the pork belly and my mom got a pasta and all had their own flavors that were so well balanced. Max flavor without being overwhelming or pretentious. (We all sampled each other's dishes) We had such a great culinary experience. I don't come to NYC often at all but if I come back I will definitely return and would feel confident recommending it to even my most food savvy family/friends. Great experience and I give it 5 stars because there's nothing I'd change or think could be improved. Height of eating. Thank you (ps I posted the price at 50-100 because we got two appetizers, an entree each, one quartino of wine, and a dessert. So you could probably go and spend less but we spent about 250 including everything and the tip. Transparency;) ) ”
“ This restaurant is very romantic place, I wish our group can sit inside because I really like the ceiling and the vibe of the bar, but they don't have enough room, so we have to sit in the garden. The second thing I missed was we ate at another restaurant before and we didn't plan to stuff ourselves too much over there, so we didn't have any room left. I saw in the menu they have many interesting foods and I want to come back next time to try. We had 3 bottles of wine, cheese board and birthday cake for my friend. Service was good and we had a good time. ”
“ Really impressed with the service from Irmir, as well as the quality of the food that came out. We had the vegetable parmesan, veal ossobucco, and creamy mushroom with spaghetti and prosciutto. Highly recommend. Thank you! Affogato to finish was also very nice way to end the meal. ”
